DICE Programme (Past)

In 2020, SEA Egypt partnered with the British Council Egypt in the DICE program, to enable learning to change the world to some amazing learners in Akhmim Community Centre, part of the Association of Upper Egypt for Education and Development (AUEED) and SETI CARITAS organizations in collaboration with Assila NGO.

ASU-IHUB (EPL) Programme (Past)

SEA Egypt launched a 5-day Bootcamp with Ain Shams University’s Innovation Hub (ASU-iHub) to transform students’ creative projects into sustainable societal impact in partnership with the British Council, under the Enterprise, Policy, and Leadership (EPL) programme. 

HAT: Award in Leadership Programme (Past)

Egypt

SEA Egypt delivered the “Award in Leadership” programme at Hassan Allam Technologies. This programme allowed learners to reflect on their leadership journey, understand different learning styles and develop their personal goals.

Social Enterprise Schools (Ongoing)

Egypt

AIS East started the second round of the programme in March 2022, with 75 students, formulating 36 aspiring social enterprises.

Kimironko

People, planet, and profit – the three elements at the heart of all social enterprises. Take time to discover how a social enterprise model can increase your sustainability while reducing donor-dependency. This two day programme will help you develop your understanding of what leadership is and explore the kind of leader you want to become. You’ll connect with others working for social change and share valuable experiences as you start your leadership journey.

This workshop will bring together incubation managers, entrepreneurs and other ecosystem players to learn about planning and management of social enterprise incubators.

Going Sustainable

Lilongwe

Through a unique approach of peer-learning and development, this program will support you on financial sustainability through the development of income streams as non-profit leaders to equip you with the necessary steps on how to generate your own income, in addition to and/or independently of grant funding.

1. Ensure the set up and delivery of our learning programmes are fully inclusive and accessible, stress testing them through an anti-racism and discrimination lens

2. Ensure the content, theories and models used in our programmes reflect a wider range of culturally diverse global thinkers. 

3. Actively support the feature equity diversity and inclusion as a topic on our leadership programmes, supporting our facilitators to deliver this.

4. Ensure our recruitment and facilitator selection processes operate in a way that attracts and provides opportunities for more people from culturally diverse backgrounds.

5. Robustly monitor the demographics of our learners to ensure we are attracting learners that are more culturally representative of the communities we serve.

6. Provide ongoing support for staff and facilitators during our EDI journey, in particular to those who might come from diverse backgrounds. 

7. Support all facilitators, staff and board members with their ongoing learning and development around equity, diversity and inclusion. 

8. Engage with and learn from individuals and organisations locally and globally tackling systemic racism and injustice.

9. Share learning from the Equity, Diversity and Inclusion working group internally and with other organisations.
