Sam Eccles

Northern Scotland

Sam currently works as the part-time Entrepreneurship and Innovation Facilitator at CREATE, Inverness College (UHI). She also works as a freelance consultant, specialising in the not-for-profit sector across policy, project management, fundraising and business development. As such she has recently supported Findhorn Bay Arts in their award winning fundraising bids and jointly written Moray's cultural policy.

In addition she currently works as Producer for contemporary dance artist Seffy Setohy and writes a regular contribution for the Grapevine Magazine on arts and Cultural issues and policy.

A graduate from the Scottish College of Textiles, with a masters in Marketing, Sam has a range of experiences from setting up and establishing social enterprises, to supporting community groups to access up-to £1m through the Big Lottery's Growing Community Asset Fund. She has formally worked for CEiS in Glasgow, the Credit Union Network in South Lanarkshire, Within Human Rights, in Advocacy and in rural volunteer development.
