This programme is open for social entrepreneurs living in North Glasgow, who are running a social enterprise in the area, or will be planning to set up a social enterprise there. Applications from individuals operating outside North Glasgow will be considered, although priority will focus on those working or planning to operate in this area.
During this programme you will:
- Deepen understanding of key concepts involved in social enterprise
- Strengthen your knowledge of business development tools and leadership abilities to enable effective strategies for sustainable development
- Create a dynamic, workable business plan for your social enterprise
- Gain confidence in your leadership styles and abilities
- Learn collaboratively with other organisations at a similar stage of development
This programme is designed for aspiring social entrepreneurs, or social entrepreneurs at the early stage of developing their social enterprise.
Social entrepreneurs should live in North Glasgow, be running a social enterprise in the area, or be planning to set up a social enterprise there.
Applications from individuals operating outside North Glasgow will be considered, although priority will focus on those working or planning to operate in this area.
Through the support of the Scottish Government, NG Homes, and UnLtd Scotland this programme is fully funded and available at no cost.

Develop your understanding of social enterprise and explore how it fits with your plans. Focus on the challenges and potential ahead and what you need to make things happen.

Explore different approaches and techniques to develop and implement an effective marketing and sales strategy.
MANAGING INCOME, GENERATING FINANCE
Focuses on financial concepts, understanding and interpreting financial statements, as well as income generation opportunities.
DEVELOPING YOUR BUSINESS PLAN
A practical look at business planning to build your confidence in developing and implementing your plan. Incorporates learning from previous sessions.
