Head of International

Speechmarks PlumI joined the Academy in May 2019. I lead a global network of social enterprise Hubs across a number of countries.

I am passionate about social movements and I am interested in localising the field of social entrepreneurship across different cultures and contexts. I have previously worked across Universities in the UK in the field of social entrepreneurship. At Oxford’s Skoll Centre, I spearheaded the development of the Social Impact Lab, a year-long programme with a focus on practitioner-based learning.

I have worked at a start-up incubator to support the growth of social entrepreneurs in a low-income regional area and I am a Global Shaper with the World Economic Forum. I also work in refugee camps in Lebanon to improve access to education for Syrian and Palestinian refugees.
