Head of Sustainable Business

Speechmarks Plum  I joined the Academy in 2009, having previously worked with community recycling social enterprises and managed a local rural partnership. I was involved in the early days of University of the Highlands & Islands which lead to my involvement with the Open University, where I have been an Associate Lecturer for 18 years delivering Environment modules.

Over the last decade, I have managed the Highlands & Islands Hub for SEA Scotland and account managed direct delivery for SEA International in 12 countries. My role now spans the Scotland and International Hubs, identifying and developing opportunities for business which is sustainable, in every sense of the word.

Outside of the Academy, I enjoy spending my time trekking, hill-running, wild-camping, skiing, cycling, kayaking and generally enjoying wild places.
