Social Enterprise in Education

Light a Spark. Make a Change. Become a Champion.

The Social Enterprise in Education pilot started in March 2019 with the support of the Scottish Government since then we have been amazed by the fantastic social enterprises developed by pupils in ten community day secondary schools in Blantyre.

Through this pupil-led programme, young people have been empowered to affect real social change in their communities while developing key employability and entrepreneurial skills for the future. Since the pilot ended in July 2019, there has been a significant impact on pupils’ confidence, awareness, and skills in social entrepreneurship, with a clear potential for replicability of the project within Malawi.
