Leadership is key to the success of schools. All colleagues can contribute to good leadership, not just head teachers. This programme develops classroom practitioners - teacher leaders who are able to positively influence the teams in which they work.
Developed in partnership with Education Scotland, the 4-day programme applies leadership principles to contemporary issues and challenges in education. Using action learning and peer learning approaches, we identify new approaches to improving your practice. We enable educational professionals to develop reflective practice techniques to ensure their on going development as classroom practitioners.
This programme will support you to:
Explore your own leadership style
Build on your own skills and strengths
Apply the learning to leadership challenges in schools
Gain confidence in your abilities as a leader to progress your career
The programme is for teachers and middle leaders within the education sector, who want to develop their leadership skills.
