Welcome to your Teacher Toolkit
The toolkit compliments Social Enterprise in Schools and has been written to support teachers in the classroom.
The principles behind the toolkit create the conditions for enabling student voice and agency; however it is a guide, not a prescriptive manual. The toolkit includes a suite of information and tools, linked to curriculum key learning areas and capabilities.
Social enterprise schools journey map
Your route to social enterprise
A map of the journey students will take with their social enterprise to illustrate how you might plan for and implement social enterprise
Mapping the learning
At every journey stage you will find three sets of information: journey stage expectations (goal, experience, vocab for success, habits, knowledge, skills, building experiences), mapping to the curriculum and establishing and understanding progression.
Learning strategies across the social enterprise journey stages.
This list allows you to mix and match the strategies according to your students’ interests and needs. Importantly, it enables you to combine multiple approaches within units of inquiry to assist students and you validate their learning and assess the progression of learning.
Spark and share ideas
This section of the website contains different types of information from social enterprise schools, from here and overseas, to assist, spark and share ideas (e.g. video clips of students doing a ‘pitch’; student reflections and or annotations; units of inquiry etc).
Measure the impact in your community
Access to student and teacher pre- and post evaluation questionnaires designed to track learning
